The Atelier
The studio was born from a desire to solve, through architecture and interior design, issues related to the practical life and the desires of its users.
From empathy as one of the pillars of design.
Therefore, and even though the aesthetic concept follow similar guiding principles, each project is unique and the result of a trilogy formed by the client, the architect and the object of intervention itself, always inseparable from its insertion in its own space and history.
The team
RAQUEL T. BLANCO
Integrated Master's Degree in Architecture from the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon, in 2003/2008.
Erasmus at ETSAM – Escuela Tecnica Superior de Madrid at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain in 2006/2007.
Attendance of the Degree in Civil Engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon, in 2000/2003.
She collaborated with Pedro Lagrifa Oliveira PLCO Arquitectos, Mateus Lorena Arquitecto, Ateliermob and UrbanMatch as an Architect, between 2008 and 2013.
Collaborated with IKEA, Portugal, as an Interior Designer between 2013 and 2017.
In 2016, and in parallel with his professional activity, he began to develop what would become his own studio.
MARGARIDA BOTELHO
Integrated Masters in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto, in 2012.
Postgraduate degree in Graphic Design, from LSD in 2015.
Between 2012 and 2020, he collaborated with Conceito Arquitetos on large-scale projects for Brazil and later with A3A Arquitectos, in Lisbon.
Alongside this, he developed several projects individually and in collaboration with other studios in the areas of architecture and design.
In June 2023, he began his collaboration with RTB architecture.
